Kitchen Expo/Food Runner Job Description

A Food Expeditor/Food Runner is responsible for quickly and accurately delivering orders from the kitchen to customers at the restaurant. The food runner will work closely with taproom staff to provide an enjoyable experience for patrons throughout their dining experience. Strong candidates must be ready to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment, while always keeping the company's high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency in mind. 


A Food Expeditor/Food Runner reports to the Expo Manager and is expected to work at least 20-25 hours per week. Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.

Compensation: $10/hr + tips

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Ensure all hygiene and safety standards of the restaurant 

  • Control efficient flow and consistency of food from kitchen to guest

  • Have a knowledge of the menu

  • Supply and stock to-go materials
