Part Time Bartender Job Description:

Bartenders at Urban Lodge Brewing Co. are representatives of the passion we have for craft beer, community, and providing the best customer experience. A bartender is a positive influence on staff and guests, working hard to create an extraordinary experience for all. Someone with great communication skills, strong work ethic and passion for service will thrive in this role.   

A Bartender reports to the Taproom Manager and is expected to work at least 2 shifts per weekend.

Compensation: $10/hr + tips

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Enforce company policies and state laws regarding the consumption of alcohol

• Take drink and food orders with a positive and helpful attitude

• Serve guests alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages

• Open and maintain tabs throughout your shift

• Confident and correct use of POS system for order entry and payment processing

• Assess guests’ needs and preferences to make recommendations

• Replenish and restock bar inventory

• Wash and maintain clean glassware at all times

• Have an in depth knowledge of the craft beer, wine, and cocktails served

• Always be focused on crafting the best guest experience

• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

• Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere

• Be guest oriented and a positive representative of Urban Lodge Brewing Co.

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the taproom, bar and service areas

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift / move 160 lbs
